PAINESVILLE — Jason Henry will continue his running and academic career at Lake Erie College starting in fall.
The recent Edgewood graduate enjoyed his visit to the Division II school in Painesville. He will run cross country and indoor and outdoor track.
“I stayed there with Austin Jones (of Botkins, Ohio) and Jordan Pritchard (of Lake Catholic),” Henry said. “They have a young team with a lot of similiary goals. I like the campus. It’s a small campus and it’s more one-on-one with the teachers.”
Lake Erie ended the 2016 cross country season in the NCAA Division II Midwest Region Championships at Southern Indiana University. They set multiple school records with their performances in placing 15th of 31 teams in the 10k, a program-best finish at regionals.
