It’s been quite a high school career and season for Marco DeFalco. The lefthander went from a freshman unsure of himself and his abilities, to throwing three no-hitters his senior year and receiving a scholarship from Youngstown State.
“Looking back at my freshman and sophomore years, I never would’ve expected to get where I am now,” DeFalco said. “My freshman year I struggled a lot. It’s just hard to believe I got to where I’m at now. It just shows what hard work can do for you.”
While technique and physical attributes can always be improved, DeFalco attributes his rapid success in his later high school years to more of a mental attitude.
