GENEVA — The Eagles won the opening tip-off in their home opener against Lakeside in girls basketball non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.
Freshman Abby Carter proceeded to bury a 3-pointer. Just a minute and a half into the game, Geneva led 10-0 prompting a timeout from Dragons coach Bill Isco.
But Geneva didn’t stop. They went on to a 31-4 first-quarter lead and eventually cruised to 71-25 win.
The Eagles improved to 2-0, while Lakeside dropped to 0-4.
Geneva had all the facets working in sync on Saturday.
