Poland 15, Boardman 5

POLAND

Ashley Wire (3-0) allowed five runs — two earned — and struck out a pair in five innings pitched. Wire had three hits and three RBIs. Kaili Gross had three hits and a home run for the Bulldogs (5-0). Cameron Lattanzio had two hits, including a home run, and three RBIs while Lauren Sienkiewicz two hits and three RBIs. Vanessa Roush had two hits for the Spartans (2-3). Lauren Maughn and Madison Lester each had two hits.

LaBrae 14, Austintown Fitch 1

LEAVITTSBURG

LaBrae jumped out to a big lead early, scoring nine runs in the top of the first inning. Adrianna Geordan and Natalie Sisler both pitched in the win for the Vikings (6-0). Kaitlyn Evanko and Jenna Chmelik both pitched for the Falcons (4-3, 3-1 All-American Conference). Desi Allen had a home run and a double with five RBIs for the Vikings. Corrina Marrow and Natalie Sisler each had a single and a double. Marrow had two RBIs. Lainie Simons, Ashley Fuller, Abby Brown and Kaitlyn Evanko all recorded hits for the Falcons.

Brookfield 12, Jackson-Milton 2

BROOKFIELD

Chelsea Williams went 2 for 3 with two bunt singles for the Blue Jays. Karli Dillinger, Abby Spalding and Dana Saunders all recorded a single for Jackson-Milton. Taylor Sahli hit a home run. Brookfield stats were not reported.

Liberty 17, Leetonia 7

LIBERTY

Savanna Houk had four hits, including a double and a triple, and teammates Attaya Rhodes, Allyson Jones, Madison Weinreber and Alyssa Helco each had three hits in the Leopards’ victory. Houk had four RBIs and Weireber and Jones each drove in three runs. Weinreber and Makenzie McBride each had a double. Rhodes scattered nine hits for the victory. Chloe Dale, Gracie Duko and Megan Rosko each had two hits for the Bears. Rosko had a double and Duko had two RBIs.


All-American Conference

The All-American Conference is an OHSAA-sanctioned league, created in 2008 as the result of the merger between the Trumbull Athletic Conference and the Metro Athletic Conference in Ohio. The league has 21 different member schools, with 17 sports offered throughout fall, winter and spring sports seasons.
