Niles 10, Warren Harding 8

NILES

Chase Sudzina earned the win and Andrew Huffman pitched 11/3 scoreless innings for the save. Sudzina allowed three runs on three hits and three walks, striking out three in four innings. Cameron Knupp struck out two in four innings for the loss. Knupp allowed six runs — five earned — on eight hits and five walks. Bret Brown, Matt Williams and Brandon Arnold drove in two runs each for the Raiders. Nick Guarnieri drove in two runs for the Red Dragons.

Hubbard 16, Liberty 3

HUBBARD

Lukas Mosora homered, hit two doubles and drove in three runs as the Eagles (14-12) beat the Leopards in five innings. Jamie Thomson and Evan Jarvis also had three hits each. Thomson scored three runs. Andrew Frank, Dylan Durkos and Nate Bencetic each had two hits. Frank and Durkos each doubled and drove in two runs. Winning pitcher Anthony Corrin went the distance and struck out six. Liberty (7-17) was led by Trevor Strohemeyer’s three hits, while Zach Coman had a single and double.

Rootstown 8, Howland 3

ROOTSTOWN

Adam Whitacre had three hits and Travis McCrady and Nick Putnam each had two as the Rovers beat the Tigers. Putnam doubled and drove in three runs for Rootstown. Colton Freedson scattered five hits for the victory. He walked one and struck out three. Ray Kaso tripled and scored for Howland. Gage Tomko and Ray Perfette drove in runs for the Tigers.

Newton Falls 4, Jackson-Milton 0

NEWTON FALLS

Nick Rich had two hits for Jackson-Milton. Aaron Landis added one hit. No details for Newton Falls were provided.

The All-American Conference is an OHSAA-sanctioned league, created in 2008 as the result of the merger between the Trumbull Athletic Conference and the Metro Athletic Conference in Ohio. The league has 21 different member schools, with 17 sports offered throughout fall, winter and spring sports seasons.
