Boardman & LaBrae ranked in top 10 in AP State Poll for Boys Basketball

The Associated Press came out with its Top Ten rankings for Boys Basketball in the State of Ohio this week.

Two Teams from the All-American Conference are ranked among the best of the best right now in this Weeks Poll dated Jan 9.

The Boardman Spartans are ranged number 10 in the Division I poll. The Spartans are having one of its best starts in years with a 8-1 record going into league play. 

The AAC posts the one of the top teams in the top ten, the LaBrae Vikings, who pose a 9-0 record and a total of 4 first place votes. This is the first time in about 8 years that the Vikings have been ranked in the top 2. 

All-American Conference

The All-American Conference is an OHSAA-sanctioned league, created in 2008 as the result of the merger between the Trumbull Athletic Conference and the Metro Athletic Conference in Ohio. The league has 21 different member schools, with 17 sports offered throughout fall, winter and spring sports seasons.
