AAC Student-Athlete Spotlight of the Week Q/A: Elizabeth Boone & Izzy Kline -Newton Falls Tigers

Each week, the All American Conference will present a "Q & A" with one of its many gifted student-athletes from a participating AAC school.  The athlete featured must excel in the classroom and shown that he/her has gone above and beyond on both the field of play and by volunteering in his/her community.  This week's featured student athlete player is Elizabeth Boone &  Izzy Kline from Newton Falls Tigers.

Sport/Position: Volleyball/ Setter
Class: Senior
GPA: 3.8

Plans after graduation:
After graduation I plan on continuing my volleyball career in college, major in Biology, and then become a Pediatric Plastic Surgeon.

Favorite class:
Chemistry 2

Most enjoy about volleyball:
I enjoy how fast paced and competitive volleyball is.

Volunteer work I am involved in within my community:
I have volunteered at the middle school and helped in a fifth grade math class. I really liked helping the students in math, and helping them become more confident in their abilities in school.

Most memorable moment in my scholastic career:
The most memorable moment in my scholastic career was when I was inducted into National Honor Society.

Favorite sport related movie:
My favorite sport related movie is Remember the Titans.

Pre- match rituals:
Before my matches I listen to music.

Role model:
My role model is my mom, because she is a very hard worker, always positive, and supports me in everything I do.

Something surprising about me that others might not know:
Something surprising about me that others might not know is I have been playing piano since I was in second grade.

Favorite food:
My favorite food is chicken parmigiana.

Field of study:
I have chosen the medical field to study for when I go to college because I have always found that interesting. I also want to help people.

Team I most enthusiastically root for:
I most enthusiastically root for The Ohio State University's football team.

I enjoy playing with my friends on the volleyball court.

Volunteer work I am involved in within my community:
I have worked at the community Fish Fry, and helped the flower committee around town.

Favorite sport related movie:
The Blindside.

Pre- match rituals:
Before every game I eat a hershey's bar.

Favorite Cartoon Character that resembles you:
I’ve always found Patrick Star from spongebob to be really humorous so he's my fav cartoon character

Favorite food:
Steak

Continue your playing career in college:
I look to continue basketball and track in college

Field of study: Physical therapy is something i have always wanted to do so im going to pursue that career.

Team I most enthusiastically root for:
Denver Broncos


All-American Conference

The All-American Conference is an OHSAA-sanctioned league, created in 2008 as the result of the merger between the Trumbull Athletic Conference and the Metro Athletic Conference in Ohio. The league has 21 different member schools, with 17 sports offered throughout fall, winter and spring sports seasons.
