Crestview clinches at least a share of tier championships with win against LaBrae

Crestview boys soccer (12-2-1) beat the Labrae Vikings Monday 5-0. With this win, the Rebels clinched at least a share of the AAC blue tier in their inaugural season in the conference. They have a chance to win the title outright on Wednesday when they head to Campbell to play the second place red devil's.

Goals tonight for crestview: Jacob wickline 2, Colt Crane 1, Cory Dewell 1, Mitch Auer 1.

Assists for crestview: Ryan Emch 2, Cory Dewell 1, Matt Jennings 2.

Earning his 10th shutout of the season, Crestview's Carter blakeman made 6 saves. Steven Lloyd also made 3 saves in the shutout.

Labrae goalie Logan Dearmitt  made 8 saves. Malakai Roberts also made 3 saves for labrae.

Crestview's JV travel to austintown Tuesday at 530.

Crestview's varsity will finish their regular season on Wednesday before the move into the post season as the #1 seed in their district.


All-American Conference

The All-American Conference is an OHSAA-sanctioned league, created in 2008 as the result of the merger between the Trumbull Athletic Conference and the Metro Athletic Conference in Ohio. The league has 21 different member schools, with 17 sports offered throughout fall, winter and spring sports seasons.
