Brookfield B/G bowling teams split with Southington

GIRLS BOWLING

• Brookfield 1548, Southington 937 – The Lady Warriors opened the season with a romp over Southington at Sky Lanes in Garrettsville.

Junior Emilee Bebech led the way with a 301 series, while Macy Devine posted 255 and Nikole Husnick 254. Single game scores were Crystal Kowalski 115, Hazel Stewart 97, Alexis Cramer 97, Kelsie Hamilton 96.

Daisy Davis led Southington with a 190 set.

BOYS BOWLING

• Southington 1979, Brookfield 1960 – At Garrettsville’s Sky Lanes, the Warriors dropped a close match. 

For Brookfield, DJ Kiskadeen posted 339, followed by Michael Evans 297, Shawn Hitt 291, Rhys Knoxville 290, Nicholas Bartolin 266.

Up next, the Warriors travel to Ashtabula-Lakeside today to open All-American Conference play.

The All-American Conference is an OHSAA-sanctioned league, created in 2008 as the result of the merger between the Trumbull Athletic Conference and the Metro Athletic Conference in Ohio. The league has 21 different member schools, with 17 sports offered throughout fall, winter and spring sports seasons.
