CONCORD TOWNSHIP — All through his high school golf career, Austin Jacobs had wanted to reach the district tournament.
The Jefferson senior can cross that off his list with his performance on Monday.
Jacob qualified to the district tournament after shooting a 77 in the sectional at Quail Hollow Country Club on Monday afternoon.
“It was a little bit of a relief,” he said. “It’s what I wanted to do. All the hard work paid off. It was a goal to make it to district and try to make it to state.”
